Observation

There are staff observed in MERIT to have been at the site longer than 3 months and do not have documention of Initial Basic STARS and/or Medication Training. There were children missing medication authorization/diaper ointment forms but had diaper ointment present and being used. There were children that had vasaline which lacks the required verbiage for application and did not have a medication authorization form and/or the form lacked a doctor signature. There was a child with a food allergy that read that there was Benadryl and Epipen on the Individual Health Care Plan but there was no medication authorizations present for the Benadryl nor Epipen. There was also no Benadryl present. The Epipen that was present was expired as of 6/2022.
